1984 |
- The Group was founded by Mr Tang Wai Lam and Mr Tang Keung Lam (presently Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Co respectively), who started their retail business in medium priced footwear.

1989 |
- Began to operate its stores under the name of Mirabell and commenced the retailing of quality and fashionable shoes.
- Opened two Mirabell outlets in prime locations, namely Nathan Road and the Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard, Tsim Sha Tsui.
- Started to establish Mirabell sales counters in Theme shops on a consignment basis. Since then, additional Mirabell outlets have been established in prime shopping districts, shopping arcades and Theme shops.
- Successfully obtained distribution rights for Rockport, Timberland, Dr. Martens and Florsheim for sales in Mirabell outlets. By the end of 1996, over 30 brands of footwear products were available at the Group's retail outlets.

1992 |
- To diversify its business, Scarpa (HK) Trading Co was established to engage in the wholesaling of footwear.

1993 |
- Appointed as the sole and exclusive distribution agent in HK and Macau for Camel Boots and Camel Trophy Adventure Boots leather footwear.
- Invested in computer-based management information and inventory control systems in order to improve its operational efficiency.

1994 |
- Started to market retail footwear under its own brandname, T-moro
- Started to operate concessionary counters in major department stores for its Mirabell retail chain.
- Opened a Mirabell outlet in Macau.

1995 |
- Opened it first Joy & Peace outlet selling various lines of executive shoes mainly sourced from Europe.

1996 |
- Mirabell International Holdings Ltd ("the Co") was incorporated in the Cayman Islands in July as the holding company of the Group.

1997 |
- Opened Joy & Peace and Mirabell outlets in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, China.
- To cope with growth in the China market, set up a factory in Panyu, China.

1998 |
- Opened its fifth self-operated retail network in Wuhan, China in early July. By October, there were 6 and 22 Mirabell and Joy & Peace outlets in China respectively.
- Facing the sluggish retailing condition relocated or closed some retail outlets in both HK and Mainland China.

1999 |
- Opened a new chain stores, Teenmix, aiming at young and fashion conscious customers. By the end of June, there are a total of 4 Teenmix outlets in HK.
- Acquired 30% interest in Best Quality Inv. Ltd., engaged in the design, manufacture and wholesale of footwear products under the brandname Belle and other private labels and the retailing of footwear products under the Belle and Staccato brandnames in mainland China and HK.
